@Rev. Rye
I'm terribly skeptical of using Vox as a source for, well, anything. But the point remains valid.
Also, our issue goes much deeper than having "a "shitton of guns."
If you truly believe that simply having more guns will cause more shootings, you have little to no faith in humanity. Which is understandable, but if that's how you feel, what solutions does that leave us with that are actually viable? Take guns away? Hope that less guns equals less shootings? And then what? How do we address the deeper issue plaguing our country? Or do we even give a fuck? If we have such little faith in humans anyway, why even try?
I'm sorry, but this situation clearly goes far deeper than us just having "a shitton of guns." Sure, it's access to guns is a factor. But there are factors at play here that are arguably just as big.
edit: I'm no longer going to address anyone who doesn't have the balls to quote or mention me. If you care about discussion, that means you want me to see what you have to say, and vice-versa. Just a heads up for anyone who might care. If you're going to use that as an opportunity to get your last word in and run off, do as you see fit. Honest discussion requires honesty.

If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth.
