You made a claim that “red flag laws won’t work.” I’m wondering if you’ve researched the subject at all; if any research on laws of that nature exists; if you even bothered to google it? Or, did you just ponder the subject while on the pot, and decide that was sufficient work to form your conclusion from?

The problem is even if we say, "You are right OLB, how about this?" Their reaction is the same, "TYRANNY".

The bottom line is that side of t he isle has been needlessly scared by firearm CEOs for decades. 

If OLB says, "The moon is made of cheese" and we respond "Why yes it is by golly, but it is a bit ripe and rancid and out of date" , idiots like him would still say "WHY DO YOU HATE CHEESE".

You cant win with that side of the isle. I have literally seen stories in the news in the past, where a teen accidentally kills his family member AT A SHOOTING RANGE, and the dad says, " I won't blame the gun".

You cant explain to OLB that  "Its not the gun" isn't the issue. But the attitude about firearms. He wont get our arguments until he accepts that.

It is the gun, in that far too many like OLB have a delusional attitude that simply handing them out will fix everything.
