Keep in mind i have aspergers so i don't know how to people as it is and there like do you believe in god? and my brain was like "Walk away slowly and shut the door" and because i don't like lying my mouth just goes uh, i'm an atheist? And there just like oh? tell me how you got to that conclusion, and i'm like uh iv'e been like this? oh okay, tell me how this apartment just randomly appeared here. .___. And i'm like thinking "I don't know how to have a actual debate man, i just watch debates" so i'm sitting here like a complete moron who doesn't sound like they understand which clearly makes them look like their winning. And i'm like "Google it" or read a Charles Darwin i can't get words out of my head very well but there are tons of things online you can look up "i have to go now, bye" and shut the door. I wanna hide in a hole now to be fair, i can't debate worth the life of me yet iv'e watched millions of videos. The words didn't come out i didn't mean it to sound like you win. i latterly meant the words aren't in my head to explain and you should find someone who can.
Damn, now i'm worried there gonna come back because i opened the door for them the first time and they where gone for so long too! is it odd to say i feel like my personal space was sorta invaded? A question, doesn't always mean debate, or the bible and i wish they would have just said a question about god cause then i'd have had more room to say sorry i didn't realize that's not a conversation i'd like to have. I also am nervous about them showing back up or starting something with folks below me now, is there anyway i can make it so they can't knock on my door? but i also don't want to make it so i can't help other people who actually need something like bottle collecting or more important things.
I know i'm sorta hard on myself for mistakes, but i really do feel dumb.
but religious people have always made me feel dumb? i also tend to freeze up and slur my words and my thinking gets all fuzzy cause social anxiety.
Sounds like this was super stressful for you!
Not to minimize how you feel, but realistically, this sounds like a pretty innocuous interaction, albeit a bit embarrassing for you. Who cares what they think? Regardless of what some people say, I find their practices to be a bit predatory; I think they did invade your space. In a world where people usually call before they even think of coming over, who the hell are they to knock on your door and ask you if you believe in god?
Don't you think it would be seen as quite rude if you did the same, but then followed up with, "Well why do you think god exists? What evidence did you use to come to this conclusion? Did you know that there's never been one piece of verifiable, objective evidence presented to support the idea that there's a god?"
You'd be viewed as an arrogant prick.
So, to me, they are arrogant pricks for doing this to you. Fuck them and what they think about you.
I was thinking about this before returning home today after work and i think i was almost embarrassed that i couldn't defend myself after watching tons of debates. But in the end it probably doesn't matter your not wrong. I actually put a home made no religion no politics at my door and hopefully they can read, maybe someday but for the moment i just don't got enough skills to debate. It was arrogant yea, ignorance is bliss. But also reminds me of hamlons razor. My flaw is i'm extremely kind and probably trust to easy so i didn't expect that. Although my mother is religious and i just told her this story and she laughed because i told them to google it and basically read. So hey, if shes not offended they're fine. Made my dad mad though not at me just how they interacted with me not sure why, but i always suspected my dad was a non beliver who just goes with what my mother says but he claims he believes in "Something" so unsure sometimes other times he says differently.

What is an antsiest business card?

Make yourself comfortable.
Feel free to be naked.
The christers can leave if they don't like it.
Yea, true i guess i just feel dumb for not knowing what to say :/
but also i don't want to be mean and cut them off and say leave. but your right i should.
but if im ever in the mood to put something into it and give it a go i might just for the experience and knowledge writing it down is a good idea the only issue is see is sometimes things go of script. I'm almost upset i couldn't do it. But its ok now iv'e been pretty chill all day once that was over and done with, nerve racking though. I had flags (lgbt) outside and for a while they left and didn't return i liked that, these seem to be different ones apparently with more guts. My time could be better spent giving bottles to make money for charity to bad they weren't doing that
