Rules of the streets are if two people get caught committing a crime, one will rat.
Corporate and political worlds are no different. People want to have their cake and eat it too. They want to commit the crime and avoid doing the time.
Most people are too cowardly to just do their time. Depictions of shower scenes in prison have scared people into thinking that going to prison is not an option, even though they're criminals.
If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth.
