Perhaps it is a long term strategy to give business owning interests second thoughts when it might first appears to them that their own wealth maximization is best served by supporting otherwise controversial administration whose policies serve to directly enlarge the wealth gap.
Yeah, not sure 'strategy' is the right word here, unless there's a new definition of which I'm unaware. Something like, 'strategy (n): poorly thought out knee jerk reaction to old news'.
