Wikipedia says otherwise, for whatever that's worth. Classifies it as psychological horror. Makes sense considering the author. However, Goodreads lists it as one of King's non-horror novels. Then again, it also lists Pet Sematary as a non-horror novel, which is silly. So who knows?
Regardless, I wasn't commenting on whether or not it was a horror novel (I'm aware that King writes other genres), I was simply saying that it's surprising to me that I haven't read any of his novels given how much affinity I have for horror.
I'd still be willing to watch The Long Walk... I love The Green Mile. Probably one of my favorite movies of all time.
Maybe I should read one of King's books some time.
If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth.
