Then why didn't you say so?  You specified Africa and the Americas.  By leaving out Oceania, you give the impression that this area was free from the impact of European expansion, or that you just don't care very much about it.

In places like the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Canada settler colonialism was carried out by the British.
