We're saying that Europeans don't have a monopoly on cruel, foul behaviour. Why is that so hard for you to grasp?

They don't, though their kingdoms, empires & countries inflicted huge wounds in the body of humanity, one that I doubt it will ever heal.
Take the most cruel empire that came and legalized torture: the Mongols.
They were messy and smelly; so nobody listened to them when they said "torture works". But Europeans and people of European heritage elected a leader that finally said it public:
A white skin and a fancy suit do not hide the savage; bloodthirsty pile of personality the likes of Trump hold. And number proved that the west is full of people like him.
Europeans don't have monopoly over cruel acts; but indeed they caused some of the world's many disasters; some include the legalization and usage of torture; bombing civilians including nuking them; fight and kill millions for a small price too like we saw in WW1 & WW2.
It's not in the genes; but it's in the mind..
