Wife upset i am an atheist

It will likely taje some time but, unless your wife goes full fanatic, I don’t think it will be too much of a problem if you concentrate on what you have in common.

I was actually quite surprised that she even cared as she has never been religious at all she never prays or said the blessing before eating or went to church but she believes "because its normal". I think it has a lot to do with her dad being deceased as well I think she gets some comfort from thinking he is in heaven. I feel the opposite way I have tried to spend more time with my grandparents and parents after becoming an atheist because I am pretty sure I won't see them again after they die, its made me cherish the time with them more.
