Well, I don't like that children are sometimes born with cleft palates, or go to bed hungry at night, or can't get basic medical care, or die young due to poor sanitation, or have their genitals mutilated, or are forced into sexual slavery or are forced to become child soldiers.

None of these things are harming me in any way.  Should I ignore them?

FSM may not be a Muslim issue, per se, but two things: 1) I wasn't talking about Muslims, FM was, and 2) I don't fucking care.

I was attempting to show you how absurd it is to simply ignore things that are not harmful to you personally.  Have you ever donated to a disaster relief effort for a country you've never been to?  Have you ever volunteered at a homeless shelter or a soup kitchen that you don't use?  Have you ever contributed money to help research into a disease you don't have?

If you've done any of these things (or a hundred others I can thing of), then you know what I'm talking about.  If you haven't, then you're a myopic, self-absorbed shit.
