Hell is justified.

I think the only hell that could be justified is mere separation from the Abrahamic god. On the grounds that I wouldn't want him in my presence anyway. The punishment version is really hard to justify. Life is precious, yet this god throws it away on a whim, as much as any Human dictator would. Plus, if it's really the soul that's more valuable than the body, he's doing worse to us after death, than we could ever do to each other in life. Especially since you can go to hell for anything. You go there by default. Just for existing, he plans to throw you into hellfire. You have to beg him not to, and you'd better pick the right god, or the right version of the right god. You could live your life as a devout follower of the faith, doing good works because you want to make a positive impact on the world, then end up in hell because you were raised in the wrong religion. That's not justifiable. A devout, charitable christian, and a devout, charitable muslim, can spend their entire lives trying to save the other from hell, where neither of them should deserve it. They commit no crimes. They commit no acts that any Human would call immoral, or unethical, aside from one of them picking the wrong god, and you want to argue that one of them deserves hell?
