I have learned to joust you cautiously, because you have pointed out my errors upon occasion. But we are talking about TWO completely different motifs as far as shows. As far as "crossovers" the only one I was aware of during that series was the "Magnum Pi and Simon And Simon" episode.
I am not going to doubt you, but a link to this would be nice. I have seen the Skipper from Gilligan's Island on the original Magnum, but If there was a Three's Company crossover, we would not be merely talking about a Three's company star, but the plots of both shows intersecting. Are you sure you are not talking about a mere guest star?
For example, John Ritter was a a guest character on the original Hawaii Five-0, but Three's Company did not exist at the time. I do not remember any of the characters of Three's Company ever being guest stars on Magnum Pi. But even if they had been, I don't remember the plots/motifs mixing, like the Magnum Pi/Simon & Simon episode did.
