I think WWE is mostly entertainment and acting.
A lot of what you see happening in the ring is fake and planned out before the fights begin. Sometimes they don't even hit each other, or they only act as if they hit the other person really hard, but the contact to the body might be very harmless. Also, I noticed that sometimes they pound one of their feet on the ground to make a *thud* noise while hitting the opponent in the face. I think the reason for doing this is to create the illusion that they are hitting harder than they actually are.

But still, even if you know that wrestling is fake, there's nothing wrong with watching it just for entertainment. It's almost the same as watching a movie.
