I'm know some us must be wondering how our friend is managing during the plague (I think that's an apt term). I certainly was. So I sent him an SMS.
I haven't seen him in person for a while, owing to the virus and other health considerations (this is spelled out on his website, if you'll recall), and I thought I had better check to see if he was okay. One assumes he is "high-risk" because of his health. He seems to be doing better than he was a few months ago and has so far managed to avoid becoming infected; that was my main concern.
That's all I have for now. I hope to see him again sometime when all this is over. He's only a short journey away from me so I offered what help I can if he needs it!
