Indeed, its a state of painlessness. There's not even darkness in death, for there is no perception of an absence of light. Eternity can pass you by in oblivion and you'd still not be aware of it.

I do not fear Death. Life on the other hand, oh life, existing in a state of constant chaotic turmoil, living in bondage to fear and doubt, life I can't help but tremble with fear at.
