No, there were replicators with no brains, then cells, eventually neuronal tissue then more then greater organization all over millions of years; no god required.

It's not just the complexity but how they are ORGANIZED.
No random order resulting in little.
THEN they hook up to all parts of the body, REGULATING them!

Evolution has nothing to do with (a)theism. Those are two separate issues

God(s) may exist and life has evolved on earth or not.
God(s) may not exist and life may has evolved on earth or not.
Completely unrelated.

Of course if you have been told that your idea of a god should be incompatible with the scientifically established fact of evolution*, thats your problem. And if, in case of such a conflict, you drop knowledge rather than an unsubstantiated belief, then your problem solving skills suck.


*yes, evolution is an observable fact: Random mutation, and speciation over time,  the theory of evolution as its commonly known is the explanation.
