The purpose of the [Serious] rules (no derailing, no insults, etc) is to keep the thread on track out of respect for the OP (any OP, not just this one).
Since theMadJw saw fit to open his thread with an insult - in the title, no less - and has subsequently been thread banned for doing so, I'd say the [Serious] restrictions no longer apply.

As impressive as getting thread-banned from his own thread was, managing it with the title of his thread is whole new level of stoopid. We should have this one stuffed and mounted to show future generations how not to do it.
