As an aside, growing up a Redskin fan going to the old RFK stadium, the one thing I loved going to and from the parking lot to the stadium were the tunnels. Especially after a win, the echo people would use to make noise like cattle/cows and moo.
Mildly interesting factlet: the proper name for those tunnels is ‘vomitoria’ (sing. ‘vomitorium), from the Latin ‘to spew forth’.
The Romans found that tunnels were much more effective than gates at getting spectators in and out of the arena.
The thing about the ‘vomitorium’ as a place where decadent Romans would go to puke during a feast is a myth.
