What little grasp Atlas had on reality is gone.

He's gone full conspiracy whack-a-loon.  Maybe it's his physical illness leading to mental decline.  He's grasping at straws now looking for ways to blame America for his woes.  

Shame really.  He didn't seem like a bad guy when I first got here.  Religiously deluded but not a bad guy over all.  Now he's a rambling, babbling nutcase.

If I lived where he does I might be screaming help help I'm being repressed. I'm willing to cut him some slack.

I try to give him some slack because he is sick.  But all his woes aren't coming from America/Americans/those who emulate Americans.
