That doesn't leave much time for good decision making.

Naw... I quit getting the paper when it went to 3 times a week...
But the cops in this incident claimed they knocked and shouted several times (which would take more than a second or two). They're either lying or too stupid to be carrying badges and guns.
Maybe a bit of both...
