Well, you have to be careful with that, Heather, but it's fairly accurate - a lot of "protein" exercise mixes or diet pills actually have caffeine in them to help boost weight loss. The jury's still out on a couple things involving coffee health though, so I'm skeptical of whether or not several cups of coffee a day is a good thing in the long run.
Kichi - black coffee was long used for asthma treatment - even Teddy Roosevelt did it. When I drag my ass out of bed in the mornings for a run, I don't go until I've had at least a cup of it black. Otherwise, I'm hacking nasties out of the bronchial tubes all day long.
