A really hard question on Satan and deception.

Yes as I said christians have a relationship with God, we know Him personally and will see through satans attempts to deceive.


Scriptures do not say attempt. They say can and will.
Your personal relationship with your God, for all you can know, can be a deception.
You somehow thing that by distorting God word you can by pass deception but that is not what your bible says. Read what it says. Not what you want it to say.

Then again, I like you, think that many passages are lies.

Why is it that nonbelievers can only pick out verses they want to use to try and disprove something. I know it's not from the lack of intelligence. You are the one trying to make scripture say what suits you. Why can't you read the whole story, start at 21:27 and read through 22:40 and just maybe you will see the truth. These prophets were lying and God let them continue to believe their lies. These are called false prophets. God reveled the truth to the prophet Micaiah and it came to pass. So you see God did not deceive His people only lying prophets.

Really! you are using the same story again, bet you did not know it was the same story as in 1st Kings did you. That's what happens when you use the computer or skim through definitions in the back of the Bible to get the verses that you believe will help your case. When will nonbelievers learn that they can not use the Word of God against Him.

Again you are stabbing in the dark. You should have started at Jer.3:21 and read to Jer.5:3. God deceived the Israelites, yes, He allowed them to keep on believing that they could reject Him and not pay a price. God said they would not repent, yet He offered them the chance to repent and turn back to Him and He would save them from the Babylonian army, But they did not repent and the army came. Again God deceived the people that rejected Him, not the ones who love Him.

O Lord, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived. Jer 20:7

Why want you read the verses that pertain to the ones you quote. Pashhur is a false prophet and God let him believe what he was prophesying to be the truth. God was tired of his lying. Pashhur would not listen to Jeremiah or God's truth and he suffered the consequences for lying. Again God did not deceive those who have a relationship with Him.

And if a prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the Lord have deceived that prophet.
Ezekiel 14:9

Out of a shallow hole comes little understanding, you need to dig deeper into scripture, read all the verses that are relevant to the one you site. God is saying that a prophet who falsely prophesies will be cut off from his people and will be punished.

For this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.
Thessalonians 2:11

This passage is not about christians, it's about those who have chosen not to believe. You should have read verses 1-12, cherry picking will get you nowhere. This is what will happen near the end times and it seems you are being deceived of the truth. So you can see from a real look into scriptures that God does not deceive those who live in a relationship with Him through Christ, it is those who refuse to believe, that may continue to be deceived. I used only those verses that you picked to show you the truth, actually studying scripture helps one to understand.
