Black people killed by police in the US per million population: 42
White people killed by police in the US per million population: 14
Conclusion: you are three times more likely to be killed by a cop if you’re black than if you’re white.
Rates of arrest/incarceration don’t seem to be a relevant factor.

Many people conclude that because more black people are killed by police (proportionate to population) as an indication of systemic racism by police.
It is of course only one possibility.
