I'm 23 years old, born and raised in Winnipeg, Canada. I like my country, but hate my city. It's a dream of mine to move to the US, preferably the West coast.
I took a year-long networking course at a technical college immediately after High School, learning a lot of Cisco stuff, as well as the nuts and bolts of Microsoft servers and networking from that angle. I haven't applied any of that or gotten any certifications, though.
I'm currently doing tech support at a call center, and I absolutely hate my job. I'm going to the University of Manitoba taking Computer Science, currently finishing up my second year. I'm taking a break next year, probably taking a course or two, and hopefully getting a better job for the year so I can pay for my remaining 2 years.
Hopefully after I finish my education I can emmigrate to the US and get a decent-paying job.
