I only found that out once I saw the Robin Williams movie version mention it.
Also, only eleven songs managed to hit the tetrafecta of not only topping both the US and UK charts at the same time, but having the albums they appeared on top the US and UK charts simultaneously: "A Hard Day's Night," "Bridge Over Troubled Water," "Maggie May," "Night Fever," "Down Under," "Billie Jean," "Crazy in Love," "One Dance," "Shape of You," "7 Rings," and "Rain on Me."
And, yes, that's topping the album and singles charts in both the US and the UK at the same time. Also, I learned that trying to convey this idea is bizarrely complicated.
