Me, "No!" My point has always been it shouldn't have gotten to this point in the first place.

It isn't enough to react after the fact. What is America going to do to prevent it getting to this point in the future? THAT is the real question. The global economy for that matter focuses far too much on short term profits and exploitation.  

Bailing out the middle class and working poor IS needed now. But the long term picture is always going to be how do we avoid getting into this situation in the first  place.

Um no, I simply didn't want it to get to this point. It is too late now, so I understand there isn't time to determine. 

It still makes no sense to send me money I don't need. "Nuance" matters.

If the GOP hadn't put giant corporations and tax breaks for billionaires before livable wages and saving for a rainy day, America wouldn't have been in the position of rushing.

The purpose of the "stimulus check" was to stimulate the economy.  Are you really this dense?

If you had over a certain amount of taxable income you wouldn't have received the whole amount.

If this is stressing you so damn much, don't cash the damn thing.  

Move on...only you would have a damn mental breakdown over receiving money that you don't need.  Why don't you try being thankful that you don't need it.
