I have the trigger locks to prevent my children from accessing my guns. Neither gun is registered. I bought the mini 14 from a gun show and the Ruger P90 from a friend who bought it from a gun show so not easily traced to me.
To be honest I never thought about that I did recently look at a small bedside gunsafe. They aren't that expensive. I should probably just sell them both because I never go out shooting. I bet my 8 year old would dig it though and the 16 and 18 year old too.
