Looks is more important in the minds of many democrats that it is in reality. The looks can be sculpted. The democrats use to even be better at sculpting it. I suspect some of these democrats aren’t even really that genuinely concerned with the looks. Their outward concern is just good disguise for Their fear of decisive action.

The social norm is that no matter who the President is, and it has been in the past, that no matter, that President pays homage to the dignitary.
