Police don't get to just break into people's homes. If you don't see why that's a bad idea then I suggest you go back to school and ask your teachers to explain it to you.
Has it been accepted practice for the police to not announce themselves? If it has, then the argument that they have personal calpability for not announcing themselves would seem very much a case of punishing the scapegoat because they seem easy.
Which is rather the same basic thing as racism, would you not agree?
