This is obviously something you have never seriously investigated. It's plainly obvious technology has been undergoing exponential growth but perhaps you have to be over 17 years of age to have noticed it. There are many different laws which show and apply to exponential change, such as moores law, kryders law, amdahls law etc.

There is no proven hard limit to any of these laws, and with advances in technology, we can expect even further acceleration. The applications are endless, and also, well documented:

I'm not a follower of anyone except the Lord Jesus Christ. My scenario for this planet is a 7 year tribulation ending in armeggedon. I have nothing invested in kurzweil, or this scenario, although I find it interesting that you try to assassinate his character rather than his argument. Although he hasn't gotten everything right, he has gotten a lot right, and his theories bear looking at. Since you're so knowledgeable, how about a refutation of this data?
