Actually that is my point.
The 40s lead to the 50s, the 50s lead to the 60s, the 60s lead to the 70s, the 70s lead to the 80s. And the 80s lead to the 90s, and the 90s lead to the 2000s, and the 2000s lead to the 2010s, and here we are.
But there is no cut off date based on an "0" in the date. Overlap is why music changes.
The only point is that you are stuck in the 80s. Mentally you are still a teenager.
