Something occurred to me after scrolling through the billionth gun thread.
For the people who are set against guns...do you watch and enjoy television shows and movies where there is gunfire?
Yeah, yeah...I know it's make believe but it seems to me that if you want to do away with guns then they really shouldn't be showing up in nearly every action movie that comes to the screen. Do we take Yosemite Sam's guns from him too? Where's the line, if there is one?
Do we do away with the images of guns like we pretty much did away with the depiction of cigarette smoking in movies?
Just throwing it out there.
I am behind better vetting of people who want to purchase a firearm. And I think that gun ownership should be more traceable...like tied to your driver's license or something and if you commit a crime, with or without, a firearm you should be assessed regarding your legal ability to continue to own a gun.
