Just babbling

We are having a small gathering (six, maybe seven people) at my daughter's house.  The floor plan there is better for distancing.  The guys will sit in the living room anyway to eat while watching football.  So that's three of the attendees.  My daughter, granddaughter, granddaughter's friend, and I will figure out how to spread out in the kitchen.  

The extra guest (granddaughter's friend) needs somewhere to be as her totally fucked up mother told her the other night that she (the mother) is the only reason the stepfather hasn't raped the girl yet.  Kid needs to be away from that scene.  God I hate people sometimes.

My daughter and her family have about 50 masks that I have made this year.  I have mine, husband has his, and I will bring some for my son.

We are going to try to be safe and have drastically cut the guest list.

I hope you’ve called the police or child services.

Her grandmother is on her way here to try to get the mother into rehab and plans to take the girl home (several states away) with her or get paperwork done so she can stay with my daughter.

It's being addressed...until there's an official change, she's part of our family.  My oldest is now taking in kids with crap home lives like I did when my kids were still home.
