So massive that a celestial body that reflects the sun's light will be insignificant.
The distance of the moon from earth is ever-increasing, so it's going to be getting dimmer for quite a while, by the time the sun becomes a red giant its orbit will be about 40% larger that it is today. When the sun is a red giant the drag caused by its extended atmosphere will cause the moon's orbit to decay, drawing it closer to earth (and therefore becoming brighter). When the moon reaches the Roche Limit, tidal forces will pull it apart, forming a Saturn-like ring over the equator. The debris will eventually fall to earth and the planet will be moonless by the time the sun reaches its greatest point of expansion, which may or may not include the earth.

We'll see how Winterhold can pull that out of his magic book.
Of course, all this happens long past when ALL life on Earth is long dead. There will be no-one to see it, and therefore no judgment involved.
If descendants of humans exist on other worlds, in which case they won't even notice it happening. Perhaps we will have devolved into slugs on an alien world (as in one Voyager episode).
