This “something that will come along...” used to be somewhat reasonable argument a century ago but the work done in past century and particle accelerators have have left the landscape pretty limited to what is reasonably possible and what’s not—and any body, “outside agent” cannot possibly be made of something that can interact with our reality and yet doesn’t have to obey laws governing our reality—we spent billions of dollars to reach that conclusion.
