Truth is not a democratic proposition. It doesn’t really matter that ‘most people’ think God is not malicious. The mere possibility that God MAY be malicious weakens your argument.

How do you define "god" then, if it can be malicious? I thought "god" is usually defined as some sort of an omnipotent, benevolent and omniscient being. That's what all this theist/atheist debate is all about, the ontological argument is arguing for a "perfect being", the problem of evil is arguing against an omnipotent, benevolent and omniscient being, and so on.
