That's just the way it is...some things will never change.  The thing to do, is clearly explain to our children that this is the way things are.  That cops will beat the living shit out of you.

Correct?  Huddle around heathens, daddys gonna tell you the story of the cops, who carry sticks to hit you with and guns to shoot you with.  Yaaaaaay cops!

Isn't that exactly what you just implied you believe about an hour ago? That you consider the police to be a force with about as much capacity for reasoning or moral accountability as a wild animal?

A responsible parent teaches a kid -

Don't feed the bears;
Don't tease the rattlesnake;
And don't piss off cops..
