Sorry, but why does it have to be all true or none of it true? Why all or nothing? It was written by different authors over a vast amount of time and then compiled over generations too. This is exactly why there are contradictions and passages written for political reasons at differing times in history. That is why I constantly say that it should be taken as a rough guide, not the ultimate doctrine.
