-and how have the "elected" coalitions the afghans put in place been doing for afghan people? The CIA didnt turn them into the people they are, people of no nation - it exploited what was already there...as it always does, since cia isn't the all powerful ex nihilo creator of human circumstance anywhere it operates.
The current state of affairs is a humanitarian disaster made worse, chielfy, by us withdrawal. They'll have a civil war soon enough as en entire generation of people grew up outside of taliban rule. More will die. If the "wrong side" wins that..it will happen again. Again and again ad infinitum only for the refusal of others who could help...to help. Only for the discord of taliban sympathizers amongst the otherwise helpful.
