The Norman Conquest of England is a bs narrative

RE: The Norman Conquest of England is a bs narrative
I believe this.  I've played the scenario enough to know.

As Harald Hardrada, you begin poised to seize York;  take it; and work to Nottingham.  Win there and you have iron to win.

As Sweyn II, having lower numbers and more opposition at landings, it's tough to take enough ground to buy time.  But if you do, London is right there.

As Godwinson, it's crucial to know there are horsemen crossing from the south.  Thanks to the bs narrative, you know to defend those sea towns first.  Once the coin for housecarls kicks in, London is safe.

As William, cross.  Sucha buncha shit.
