Right, exactly. Nobody should be offended by such wording. We can't just change everything because some people's feelings might get hurt if we don't change things. There's nothing logical about that.

Why not?

We shouldn't encourage wimpy, sensitive mindsets. People shouldn't be wimpy or sensitive in the first place, but if some people are going to be overly sensitive, then we shouldn't listen to them. I would much rather live in a nation of strong individuals who aren't easily offended, than individuals who get offended over words.
