Don Lemon, talking about Meghan and Harry, said how his own husband had to confront racism from other people when he started dating, and eventually married, Don Lemon. But isn't that a bit comical? I mean, the guy is already gay and it's not like people are going to be fine with him being gay and then scold him for dating a black guy. Or if they go to a restaurant and waiters overlook them being a gay couple but then treat Don badly because he's black. Or if they make out during a baseball game while other people are shocked not by them being gay but by being a racially mixed couple.
Anyway, here's the video if you want the reference. It's around the 3-minute mark

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
