Look, I don't fault you for thinking that fake news is garbage, but I do fault you for claiming to object to fake news while referencing fake news. Fair, don't you think?
I take issue with what the Intercept did to Glenn Greenwald recently, but in general, the Intercept is far more credible a news source than most others. Some scientists consider it gain of function research, while others mostly play word games to say, "well, technically no, but close.", which is pretty much playing the semantics game. When we talked about this before, someone referenced the White House denying that it was gain of function. They also said there were weapons of mass destruction. I couldn't care less how the White House wants to spin things to cover their asses.
So yeah, in my link we have the info gained from the FOIA request, and then they have different scientists interpretation of that information, and the conclusion that they reached from speaking to a bunch of scientists. That's what a news article is supposed to be. I'm sorry that you interpret the article as fake news, but I just don't see it.
