Without looking it up I can't remember the cost, but a two year licence is around £2 a week I think. (I spend far more than that on coffee/)
Eset is my favorite. Works very well and is not intrusive.

a quick check, it is £40 / year so less than £1 per week... a bargain, automatic updates, never had a problem with it
