Speaking of the past and growing up, both Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays were major family events. Celebration and food. Maybe it's because I haven't created for myself a traditional family, but holidays simply stopped being important to me when I left home. And I'm not the type of person in need of friends with whom to celebrate.
