He wasn't a general, he was a King. He had the same name as me, but his title was "the conqueror".
We call him "Fatih Sultan Mehmed Khan". And his full titles and honours go even far beyond that.
Sorry, yes, I knew he was a Sultan. I slipped and called him a "general" because he took the leadership role in that battle.
