Listen again IA, critically, without your over riding agenda getting in the way.
Edit: Went back a page and read posts, apparently I'm beating a dead horse. Excuse me for being unintentionally repetitive.
Sounds to me like you think you are defending science, but you are taking a giant dump on the scientific method because you want to stick it to Trump because Trump and Fauci didn't get along. Lame.

You're still not getting it. Facui didn't say he was science, antivaxxers attacks as if he was science.
NIH didn't fund gain of function, the funding was used in an untended way, without NIH prior knowledge. Lets put this into a scenario that maybe you can understand. IA pays a contractor in advance to fix his house and get supplies. The contractor uses the money to buy a gun and robs the lumberyard for supplies. According to your logic IA robbed the lumber yard.
And jesus fucking christ, the author (Discovery Inst senior fellow) has little credibility when it comes to science: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wesley_J._Smith
There may be E. coli where you have your head.

IA, please notice that these articels are not written by a lawyer tied to creation science.: https://www.science.org/content/author/jocelyn-kaiser
