I'm the OP. Life doesn't have to have a meaning. To clarify, I'm an existentialist. I don't believe that life has any meaning, in and of itself. Life has whatever meaning that we as individuals personally find in it or create for ourselves.
The point of the original post was to lay waste to a common theist claim that as without god-belief, life has no meaning. That, and I thought it would be interesting to find out what others here find meaningful.
I understand that life only has whatever meaning individuals find in it, but I never even found the need to find meaning in my life personally. I was just wondering if anybody else felt that way too.
