But it’s also time to admit that ‘the same deed will be carried out against you’ argument is rubbish. Muslim societies - by and large - do not support this. For example, if a man is found guilty of stealing a radio, then a just punishment would be to have an item of equal value stolen from him, not to have his hand cut of. If a woman is convicted of adultery, an equitable punishment would be for her husband to cheat on her, not to be flogged.
Get your head out of your arse and admit that you’re a steaming great hypocrite.

The argument is not rubbish, the Quran says it should be this way:
Quote:Sura 2, The Quran:
https://quran.com/2:194?store=false&translations=
˹There will be retaliation in˺ a sacred month for ˹an offence in˺ a sacred month,1 and all violations will bring about retaliation. So, if anyone attacks you, retaliate in the same manner. ˹But˺ be mindful of Allah, and know that Allah is with those mindful ˹of Him˺.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Retaliating in the same manor is ordered by the Quran.
As for what Muslim societies do in their courts; I already told you and so many others that they are not dealing like "Muslims" anymore. I don't care about what they do.
But it’s NOT ‘retaliating in the same manner’ (note correction), because the punishment is excessive. If it were as equitable as you claim, then the only Quranic justification for cutting off a hand would be if the condemned had been found guilty of cutting off someone else’s hand.
But your hypocrisy continues unabated. You say that Christians are evil for committing atrocities approved by God, but Muslims are righteous for committing atrocities approved by the same God, because you’re apparently incapable of understanding that theistic religion - any religion - is what makes these people behave atrociously.
