Because it turns out that the relatively small difference between the vaccination rates between nations like the US and the UK manages to translate into a big difference in severe cases.

Yeah, I wouldn’t trust Campbell’s conclusions overmuch. He is a veritable font of mis- and disinformation, and doesn’t appear to really understand the data he cites.
